Passages Teacher - Androscoggin and Cumberland County

Are you interested in alternative education? As a Passages Teacher  you will work with a maximum of 11 students each week, in their own homes. Wayfinder’s approach is individualized, strengths-based, and student-centered. As you guide your students through the completion of 24 core academic and life skills requirements, and toward their Maine state-approved high school diploma, you will connect each student’s learning to their life goals and needs. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with teacher certification, certification in 7-12 Math preferred

• Must live in Androscoggin or Cumberland County

This is a full time, year-round, salaried, nonexempt, benefits eligible position which will generally work weekdays. Some evening and weekend work may be required. Teachers will be off for 9 weeks in the summer. 

Salary - $40,000-$42,000
